Concerning his requests to reply to Sig. Berioli , saying his letters and her replies crossed, that she asked her notary, De Luca, to find out something regarding [Gounod's] Cinq Mars, expressing the hope that that when the French elections are over the theatres will return to their regular schedule, saying that as long as the works are not given again in Paris she will make no decision, adding that that day she telegraphed to her firm the price of La favorita for Brizzi--that, however, she intends to give it if the old invoice is paid, etc.
